The Kampala dream!
Chill the American dream... mine is the Kampala dream. Its easier to dream of stardom in Kampala than in Hollywood...I really thought I would be rich and famous by 21, (dont ask how old I am now) but all i dream of is returning to Kampala! My boss seams to have noticed that I become unsettled on Fridays and come late fidgeting on Mondays....but like Luther the King, I have a dream. A Kampala dream! I wish it was a bigger dream, like the American dream...but when in dreamland, do as dreamers do, they dream of the next best thing...
And about dreams, Kampala is star crazy! Its called CWS ( celebrity worship Syndrome) ...people are starstruck...appear on T.V today and in a taxi tomorrow and see how people stare at you! I have a friend who used to call herself a ULA ( upcoming Local Artist) because she featured in some ULA's music video! We want to live like them, they are living our dreams...but being around so many "local stars" has killed our dreams!
The Kampala dream is to be on BBA.....why not owning the show?
The Kampala dream is to be miss Uganda...where are the past beauty queens?
The Kampala dream is to produce a song like Bobi Wine...why want to do 'Kiwani...'
The Kampala dream is to produce a "Nigerian movie"...whatever happened to originality!
The Kampala dream is to make a church...what about going to heaven.
Kampala dreams of chogm....I dream of conquering England!
If it is a dream, let it be a big big dream...so when it comes true, u go like, I don't want to wake up!!!!!!

Worry not. Conquering the British Empire, a big job started off by Idi Amin :o) is about to be completed. By me. :oD
